Guess what came in the mail over the weekend? My copy of Bead Soup!
It’s hard to believe that I wrote that original post back in February, and now, within a few short weeks, Bead Soup will be on store shelves. I had just a small role, but it’s been really fun to be a part of it; Lori, the author and coordinator, did a fantastic job choosing contributors and keeping things organized. All told, there are 26 designers, including Lori and her son Zach, with projects in Bead Soup!
I haven’t had a whole lot of time to sit down and devour everything yet, but I think people will be really excited with the variety of projects Bead Soup offers. Even just skimming through it, I feel a buzz of excitement and a need to dig out my pliers again. That buzz feels so good, let me tell you.
The final projects are still being kept secret, so I can’t share mine yet. But I did want to take a moment to say that there will be a fun blog tour October 1st through the 8th on a few contributors’ blogs (including a stop here), with a final grand stop on Lori’s blog. Prizes and giveaways will be had, so mark your calendars!
Pre-orders through Lori are closed, but you can order a copy online through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kalmbach directly. Or, if you’ll be at ArtBLISS this upcoming weekend, Lori will have copies there for purchase.
