Wanting a new camera strap
This is a plea for help from photography loving friends – I need a new camera strap.
As I mentioned the other day, I’m off on a two week vacation in 24 days (but who’s counting?). And because I’m trying to stay on top of things, and not because I’m counting down or anything, I’m looking over what I need to pack and it occurred to me that I’ve never been totally happy with the camera strap that came with my DSLR.
It also occurred to me that I’d love a new camera/laptop bag (never had one of those), an iPad, and a couple new lenses, but I’m filing that under “Want”, not “Need”, and most assuredly under “Stuff I Can’t Afford Yet.”
So, camera straps.
Ideally, I want something that doesn’t dig into my neck, because I anticipate I will be the sole Photographer Who Documents This Family Vacation, and therefore will have said camera on constantly. It can be colorful, but that’s not my main concern (shockingly). Instead, I’d prefer something comfortable that doesn’t make my neck all hot, replaces or covers a DSLR strap, and doesn’t break the bank. If it’s got a lens cap pocket, too, that’d be an awesome bonus.
I popped over to Etsy and immediately got overwhelmed. So, I’m putting this out there – anybody got any shop recommendations?
