Color Palette #114 :: Art Journal 3
I have to confess that this is not a new photo, but an old one I found and liked. It’s been ages since I’ve had the time to grab my camera and head out for a few shots, much less pull out the paints, which is sadder for me than anyone else. I know I need to make the time, but I’m powering through the gigantic to-do list I’ve got going on over here. I haven’t crossed everything off yet, but the things I have gotten done this week feel pretty damn good.
So, rather than wait for a day where I made the time to snap photos, I figured lets not delay on an overdue palette post and went searching through my archives for a favorite instead.
You don’t mind, right?
I also wanted to share some news – some of you may know that I guest post on the Art Bead Scene blog, right? (And if you didn’t know, I guest post on the Art Bead Scene blog. Surprise!) Twice a month, I get to whip up some color palettes; one for the monthly ABS challenge, and one based off fabulous art beads that I’ve found.
Well, a few weeks back, Marsha from Marsha Neal Studio reached out about possibly doing a monthly palette post on the Beads of Clay blog. Super exciting, so I jumped on it, and yesterday, it was announced to the BOC readers!
So, if a weekly (or, usually weekly, I’ve been naughty as of late) palette post here isn’t enough, you now have a few more options. You can pop over to the Art Bead Scene blog at roughly the start and midpoint of each month or the Beads of Clay blog every third Thursday for more palette posts. And, don’t forget, my Palette Club, too, for actual prints you can hold and love.
What have you been working on this week?
