Color Palette #110 :: Little Moon

It’s been a while since I picked up my camera to take any photos… and I had a weird moment where I completely forgot what I was supposed to do. I knew it was going to be a challenging session after I forgot to put the battery I just charged into the camera before turning it on.

Talk about awkward. It sort of went downhill from there.

So, I have no idea what was going on when I took photos the other day. Was I moving or shaking? Was I not focusing properly? Was the pre-sunset light screwing me up? Was the lens dusty? No clue. All of my photos look weird.

But I dig that little moon up there. And I like the editing, so there’s that.

Eventually, I’ll work my way up to night photography, because there are some nights where the moon is just amazing. Or maybe just get a telephoto lens. I’ve heard you can rent lenses - anybody got any experience with that? I’m going on trip in August that it might be fun to rent some lenses for. Any tips?

P.S. How is it JUNE?

I love that little moon. It’s very powerful with the moon and all that space.

  2. I know, June,…right?! Doesn’t seem possible. And, the moon was stunning last night and I so wished I could do night, or even dusk, photography!! Love the colors on this palette!

I’m loving the moon and the shot of green among all that blue/grey.
I would love to help you out on lenses but I have no experience in that area.
