I was in New York this weekend, right, and it was bloody cold. It snowed (just a baby snow storm, apparently), which, I’m not going to lie, caught me off guard. No clue why. But snow in January in New York? A truly novel idea.
Seeing all the slushy whiteness plus the weirdest winter weather ever back home (it’s warmish here, unbelievably) has left my body confused as to why the grass isn’t green yet. Yep, that feeling has now hit me full-force. I am now craving spring.
So, I went searching for bright emerald green goodies on Etsy to satisfy my craving, since my mind knows full well that spring isn’t arriving any time soon. Aren’t they lovely? I can almost feel the grass growing and see the flowers blooming. I feel like I need a meadow to run around in, stat.

So weird to think you’re in winter since it’s been hot here. I just noticed the leaves are starting to change, it seems too early but I’m sure I think that every year.
